Chair Ferroni (presiding) called the meeting to order, led the pledge of allegiance and opened the June 6, 2024 regular meeting of the Carlsbad Arts Commission.
The Carlsbad Arts Commission met June 6, 2024, to hear presentations on the William D. Cannon Gallery fiber-art exhibition, updates on three permanent public-art projects (Chestnut Underpass, Veterans Memorial Park, Barrio traffic circle), and the Library & Cultural Arts department budget and staffing plans for FY24–25. Commissioners approved deferring the chair/vice-chair election and agreed to add a future agenda item to consider restructuring grant awards.
