At the April 1, 2026 Lacey Parks, Culture & Recreation Board meeting, board members heard public comment supporting expanded pickleball facilities, received an update on aquatics programming and swim-lesson growth, recommended a new public art donation policy to the city council, approved design and funding direction for Rainier Vista Park pickleball improvements, and approved a naming-rights/sponsorship agreement for city parks.
