At the March 10, 2026 Holland Planning Commission meeting residents asked the commission to revisit the citywide cap of 25 short-term rental certificates; the commission then considered and recommended approval of a BPW project to add a ultraviolet disinfection building, vote on vacating 2nd Street, and to rezone 49 West 3rd Street to industrial and forward those recommendations to city council.
