City Schools of Decatur held a combined pre‑work, work and regular board meeting on March 10, 2026, covering proposed FY27 budget priorities, federal and state grant awards (including Title I and IDEA), SPLOST uses, staff recruitment/retention and a due‑diligence report rejecting 525 West Howard Avenue as an early childhood learning center site. The board approved multiple policies and the consent agenda and set next public meetings for budget and community engagement.
