At its March 11, 2026 meeting the Green Bay Parks Committee voted to send an amendment to municipal code section 28-37 on unauthorized tree removals to full council, approved two procurement items for pool heaters and architectural design work, and accepted a donation of 800 trees to be planted along the East River Greenway using biochar.
