County Administrator Steve Howard joined Feeding Tampa Bay staff and community volunteers on a Meals on Wheels ride-along to deliver hot meals and check on homebound residents, who are sometimes left without daily contact. Staff and volunteers described the program as both a nutrition and welfare check for people who cannot easily reach stores or family.
