The Village of Orland Park announced the start of a reconstruction project at the intersection of 143rd Street and John Humphrey Drive that began March 2, 2026 and is expected to finish in early 2027. The work will widen pavement, add dual left-turn lanes, modernize signals, improve drainage and lighting, and proceed in three stages to keep the intersection open.
