Durham City Council met March 16, 2025. The council issued a proclamation for International Women’s History Month, adopted multiple consent and priority items (including lease and ARPA-related amendments for the Fedville Street/Hayati corridor), approved bond financing and a zoning change, and held a lengthy public hearing on the FY2026–27 budget with extensive public comment on parks, tennis courts, ARPA accountability, public safety and transit.
