The Norwalk City Economic and Community Development Committee met March 31, 2026, to begin a two-night review of the 2026–27 capital budget; department officials presented key project requests (historical preservation, ADA upgrades, library digitization, election poll books, WPCA and public‑works infrastructure) and committee members discussed timing, funding sources and debt impacts. Committee agreed to finalize votes at the follow-up meeting and to forward recommendations to the full council.
