The Red Oak City Council met in regular session to swear in a new police chief, recognize firefighters for lifesaving responses, hear public comment on neighborhood billing, approve a liquor-distance variance for a restaurant, approve a school zoning amendment for a CTE building and gym expansion, discuss and table a commercial zoning/development plan along I-35, and extend the city manager's contract with a 3% pay increase.
