Porter County Recycling & Reduction District board and citizens advisory committee met March 18, 2026 to reorganize leadership, approve committee appointments and routine financial items, and to approve several operational contracts including a move to cloud accounting and a paint-recycling pilot. The board discussed grinding equipment costs and issued several operational directives; one item (a chainsaw waiver) was tabled for later review.
