The Portola Valley Emergency Preparedness Committee on April 2, 2026 approved a subcommittee report for referral to town liaisons, reviewed preparations and budgeting for significant-weather events (committee budget $1,500), and received a detailed update from the Woodside Fire Protection District on staffing, recent responses and a neighborhood “nodes” readiness program.
