The Cocoa Beach Board of Adjustment heard public testimony and approved a special-exception (PZ26-8) allowing a single motorized eco‑tour vessel to operate from a commercial dock on a canal adjacent to the Drift redevelopment, with conditions limiting boats, hours, passengers and onboard activity. The vote was 4–1 following extensive public comment about privacy, safety and manatee impacts.
