The Belvidere City Council met May 19, 2025. The meeting included two public commenters, a presentation from the Ida Public Library director on nonresident library-card fees and summer programming, approval of routine expenditures, committee motions to fund engineering, maintenance, installation and appraisal work, and a vote to enter executive session to discuss retention of outside counsel and pending litigation.
