Vinton City Council met July 10 and adopted Ordinance 1110 identifying municipal parking lots, approved several resolutions including purchase of street lights and hotel/motel tax disbursement to Bit Unlimited, approved intergovernmental 28E agreements for law enforcement mental-health and dispatch services, and handled infrastructure items including a wastewater contract and temporary easements for an East Third Street sanitary sewer project. Council also heard a citizen nuisance request and a public-works report noting a DNR complaint about the brush dump.
