The Detroit Budget, Finance and Audit standing committee held a public hearing on an ordinance to reserve 50% of certain office budgets for incoming elected officials and took action to forward the ordinance with a recommendation to approve; the committee also approved a $2.04 million facility-management contract and deferred a separate contract item to the end of the agenda.
