Council President Vidver called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. and the clerk called roll; Alders Ginderin, Madison, Evers, Figuro (Cole) and others and Mayor Yorum were noted present.
The City of Madison Finance Committee met March 16, 2026 to consider consent items and five separated agenda items including a sole-source animal services contract, a temporary parking agreement for a major fundraising event, approval of a public-art commission, a parking-permit agreement with a private developer, and an internal audit update with an employee assistance program audit. All four consent-separated contracts were approved by voice vote; staff presented the internal audit findings and plan for 2026.
