The House Human Services Committee reviewed two amendments to H657 that narrow an immunity clause for service providers working with unaccompanied youth and clarify an exemption in the statute for designated runaway shelters. Committee counsel and Representative Melissa Arsenault explained the language changes and members indicated support in a straw poll; the amendment will be offered on the House floor at third reading tomorrow.
