The Cocoa Beach Planning Board recommended that the city commission adopt Ordinance 17-10, which moves travel and car-rental facilities in the CT zoning district to the special-exception process and adds criteria limiting servicing, signage, hours, driveway access and environmental protections; the board also approved zoning application criteria for quasi-judicial reviews and heard a site-plan update for a project called The Drift.
