Ventura Unified School District board met Aug. 27, 2025. Student wellness peers from multiple high and middle schools described peer-led wellness center activities and funding; the board approved several executive contract amendments; the board reviewed recommended supplemental novels and heard a detailed update on special education reforms following a FICMAT review, including expansion of co-teaching and early inclusion efforts.
