Franklin City Council met Sept. 8, 2025. The council approved two budget resolutions to accept incoming federal and state school funds, declined (for lack of a second) a proposed transfer from the city general fund and later tabled discussion about that transfer to Sept. 22. The council also appointed a planning commission member and authorized a contract with Capital Results to provide interim city manager services (Lincoln Saunders).
