The Utah State Board of Education USDB standing committee reviewed multiple policy drafts for the Utah Schools for the Deaf and Blind, heard public comment urging greater transparency in a recent town hall and in the superintendent hiring process, approved several school-land trust plans and licensing items, amended a student search-and-seizure rule, and voted to create a board working group to study long-term capital facility needs.
