Beaufort County Board of Commissioners discussed a proposed land sale to an international pool manufacturer, updates to tax-foreclosure procedures and staffing, school reimbursement and lottery-funded projects, several lease and grant contracts, and debated a resolution seeking tougher penalties for illegal drug dealers; a proposal to reduce next year's tax rate to return alleged overcollections was also raised and voted on.
