The Village of Brookfield Board of Trustees met July 28, 2025, and approved several administrative items: reappointments to the Economic Development Commission, an amendment to liquor license rules and a new Class S license for Imperial Oak Brewing, adoption of an economic incentive policy, and hiring SB Friedman for tax-increment financing (TIF) consulting. The board also swore in a newly promoted sergeant and a new police officer, heard public comment about truck safety near Sweetener Supply, and gave staff direction to modify existing banners for the Grand Boulevard streetscape grand opening.
