The Federal Way City Council met April 7, 2026. The council opened with a proclamation declaring April 13–17 Black Wellness Week, heard presentations from a local equipment-exchange nonprofit and the city's state legislative delegation, discussed state housing and public-safety legislation, reviewed a pedestrian crash and a planned road-safety audit, and voted unanimously to enact a 0.1% local sales/use tax for public safety.
