At its September business session, the Duplin County Board of Education held its opening prayer, approved routine agenda items, entered an executive session on personnel, approved superintendent personnel recommendations, added a late agenda item to discuss the North Carolina Needs Based Public School Capital Fund grant, and authorized the superintendent to sign and submit the grant application before the Oct. 3 deadline.
