Rosemount City Council met April 7, 2026. The council swore in Carson Thomas as police chief, accepted a fire-staffing master plan and authorized follow-up steps, adopted a water conservation proclamation, heard extensive public comment and requests for a moratorium on additional hyperscale data centers, approved several contracts (including a Kamera/Akran roundabout) and amended the rental licensing code.
