Ypsilanti City Council heard extended public comment on the March 10 ICE detention of local resident Miguel Rosas Ruiz, passed a walk-on resolution urging a bond hearing and outreach to state and federal officials, certified a citizen petition about police funding for transmission to county and governor after heated debate, approved zoning and budget items and authorized limited exterior cameras at the Freight House after public objections.
