At its Nov. 20, 2025 meeting, the Harrison Township Planning Commission approved a site plan for an expansion of Boat Town Liquor contingent on four variances to be decided by the Zoning Board of Appeals; commissioners received informational correspondence about a proposed runway shift at Selfridge Air National Guard Base and were notified of an upcoming public hearing on zoning text amendments scheduled for Dec. 18, 2025.
