The Altus City Council and Municipal Authority met to approve routine consent items, authorize bids for a bulk trash alley cleanup, approve surplus sales and vehicle purchases, and voted to declare the city's Lake water rights surplus to avoid costly dam-repair liabilities. The council also approved a hazardous-waste collection contract and accepted the city manager's employment contract after an executive session.
