At an event held at Texas A&M International University, representatives from Laredo ISD and Texas A&M International University said they are partnering with a local financial institution (transcript spelling: Falcon Brank) to develop a financial literacy initiative. Teachers in grades eight and nine will form a committee to design activities involving students, parents and the wider community to promote college and career readiness.
