At its April 7, 2026 meeting, the Clayton Board of Zoning Appeals approved variance application VAR 2602 allowing a third detached accessory structure at 4639 and 4649 West Winger Road, subject to conditions keeping the new building out of a high-risk flood zone and capped at 1,360 square feet. Staff presented the application and recommended approval; the applicant and board members discussed flooding, septic constraints and FEMA mapping.
