At its March 31, 2026 regular session, the Jasper County Board of Supervisors unanimously voted to enter a closed session under Iowa Code §21.5(c) at the request of Scott Nicholson, later authorized the auditor and board chairman to send a follow-up letter about the closed-session subject, and then recessed into a budget hearing workshop where they continued discussion of the Law Enforcement Training Center.
