The Nemaha County Board of Commissioners met April 8, 2026, in Auburn and approved a public defender application, multiple right-of-way permits for utility work, a purchase for courtroom phone lockers, a bridge-inspection contract and other highway actions; the board also agreed to pursue grants to replace the courthouse boiler.
