Beardstown City Council on Dec. 17, 2024 adopted the fiscal 2024–25 tax levy and abatement ordinances, approved an intergovernmental dispatching agreement, authorized purchases of a Public Works F-750 truck and two police vehicles, and accepted financial and ambulance reports.
