At its Dec. 16, 2024, meeting the Altoona City Council approved sewer and multi-year water rate increases, awarded a contract for Civic Center pond dredging, adopted a comprehensive plan amendment for northwest Altoona, denied a request to waive a rental late fee, and approved withdrawal from a 28E agreement with BRAVO Greater Des Moines.
