Chair (Val) called the meeting to order, the committee approved the consent agenda and past records by voice vote. Several members moved and seconded the consent items and the chair called the roll for a unanimous set of yes votes.
At its Feb. 26, 2026 meeting the Brookline School Committee heard an extended public-comment and staff presentation on the ninth-grade WISP curriculum (World History, Identity, Status, and Power); district leaders said a multi-year data review and dashboard are underway and that no honors WISP will be offered next fall. The committee also received an FY27 budget update showing a multi‑million dollar gap and a list of potential program and staff reductions if an override fails.
