Minot City Council met March 16, 2026. Council heard a public update on the Union Silos public art project, reviewed updated ALPR (license-plate reader) guidelines, moved several procurement and budget items (including directing staff to seek multiyear quotes for an airport mechanical contract), shelved a proposed public works water/sewer building after bids exceeded estimates, debated and revised an alcohol ordinance (adding a 21-event-day limit for off-site/temporary permits), heard two public commenters, and adjourned.
