City of Pickens council held a budget work session April 13 to consider applying roughly $418,000–$500,000 in unexpected revenues to one-time capital needs, decide whether to fund a 3% cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for staff, and vote on several project starts including fuel storage, a new baseball field and a $50,000 fire-station study.
