Adelanto City Council met Aug. 28, 2024, and heard a presentation announcing that St. Mary’s Medical Center has opened a Level 4 trauma center serving the High Desert; the council also approved several routine resolutions, approved modest community sponsorships, approved a near-term budget extension, changed meeting times, and directed staff to study rules and a zoning approach for food trucks.
