Preston County Schools hosted a legislative work session where state lawmakers and local board members discussed school aid formula reform, teacher pay and PEIA costs, charter/Hope scholarship accountability, alternative learning centers and student mental-health staffing, and funding for summer learning tied to the Third Grade Success Act.
