Cowlitz County Board of Commissioners held a regular meeting and a follow-up workshop on Mount Saint Helens. Commissioners approved routine business and proclamations, tabled a juvenile detention contract for further review, rejected a changed telecommunications franchise application from Ziply and discussed sediment management, fish recovery, recreation and a proposed strategy for Spirit Lake and the Toutle/Cowlitz river system.
