The Tucson Unified School District Governing Board opened its April meeting with recognition of student musical performers, approved a $1 million renovation at Sabino High School to create a machining/CTE classroom, welcomed a new chief operations officer, and adopted new salary schedules that include 4% raises for most employee groups while negotiations continue with some bargaining units.
