Morris City Council moved the citizens-comment period earlier in the agenda, approved an $80,000 tourism marketing strategy and funding for a part‑time tourism coordinator from lodging-tax revenues, and tabled a comprehensive plan contract until a new city manager is in place. Several routine resolutions and appointments were also approved.
