The Avoyelles Parish Police Jury met April 14, 2026. The jury heard two public delegations, received an Acadian Ambulance monthly report, adopted a solar farm ordinance, abandoned Smith Road, authorized grant and contract actions, voted to add animal-shelter language to a health unit ad valorem proposition and to call an election, approved a lease for the Simsboro Health Hub, and handled routine purchases and cleanup actions.
