Santa Barbara City Planning Commission held a hearing on April 16, 2026. The commission unanimously recommended a local coastal program and zoning map amendment for a small parcel at the airport for future parking (Moffett Place). The body also reviewed an inclusionary housing and in-lieu fee study and gave staff direction to send a package of proposed changes and recommended fee ranges to city council for further consideration.
