At a Seven Hills City Council committee meeting, members offered condolences for the late Fire Chief Jamie Mecklenburg, received a student visitor who described a city 'shadow day,' opened and quickly adjourned several committees, moved into an executive session on employee compensation, and voted to place two police resolutions and several labor/department contracts on the next meeting agenda as emergency items.
