At its Jan. 28, 2026, meeting the East Grand Forks Economic Development Authority discussed a contested mowing contract and asked staff to seek alternative bidders if the selected vendor will not accept a 30-day termination clause and per-lot pricing reductions; the board approved a request to combine two Pinehurst lots for sale, reviewed financial and housing-fund options including a $100,000 builder loan program and tax-abatement timing, and voted to enter a closed session to evaluate Director Maggie Brockley under Minnesota Statute 13D.05.
