Town council approved a package of budget amendments including authorization to issue up to $35 million in general obligation bonds, new land purchases and capital projects, and a restructuring of short-term rental (STR) fees and enforcement; the council also approved a project list to submit to Beaufort County for a possible transportation sales-tax referendum and heard heated public comment about transparency and the county bridge plan.
