South Bend City Common Council met April 13, 2026. The meeting opened with an invocation and pledge, received a Public Works update covering leaf pickup, paving, curb/sidewalk programs, alley grading and traffic calming, then proceeded to committee-of-the-whole zoning hearings and adopted four duplex rezoning ordinances and a six-year tax abatement for the Cascade Phase 2 project.
